Good morning everyone, I my son has a camp in the woodlands for 5 days this week. The camp is in the woodlands. The GPS has me going to 1314 to 99 and I exit goslinbst in the woodlands. I have a EZ tag but my car is the ship so my dad is here for the week to take my son to the camp. He doesn't have a Ez tag. I called them and they said I can get a EX tag for my son with a credit of $30, which I dad but I'm curious to know how much will it cost each from 99 to the woodlands going there and back for the next 5 days? Do you think $20 is enough? Should I add more money? If you can give me an estimate I would greatly approached it because customer service didn't doesn't know the answer 4951

Get a TxTag, they're free vs EZTag, both interchangeable. I believe it's like $2 or so each way.  4951

@Ebola: This is how I would go... 242 is easy and free. As to toll cost, I don't know to The Woodlands. I know it costs me $3.50 take 99 to Spring from Porter.

I'm so confused why the GPS took me 99 to the woodlands. I usually go 1314 to 242 to the woodlands which o would think be closer. His camp is at the John cooper school. The exit is gosling st. Is traffic usually bad on 242 during rush hour? I will go 242 when I pick him up to see the difference. 4951

@Momof2boyz: 242 is slower by about 10 minutes(the biggest hangup is usually at 242 changing over to 1314) but never seems that bad, just quite a few lights but not an insane amount of traffic.

1314 to 99?  If you were going to use 99 wouldn't you just skip up 59 and not deal with 1314? 4951

If you are going to exit Gosling from 99, it's likely to cost you $2.75 one way. 4951

It's $7.90 from 59 to Boudreaux Rd (over near 249 in Tomball) and back. I just checked my last bill. And to be honest, I'd pay A LOT more than that to never travel 1314/242 to The Woodlands again.  Emoticon  They do need an entrance coming back east at 45 though...That's my only complaint. Other than that, I Emoticon 99!   ~C  4951
