Here is my review for whatever it is worth
Their shrimp po boys are great.  The shrimp do not have seasoning on them to speak of, but the bread is the best in our area that I have had for po boys.Their jambalaya was good.  Not great, but hands down the best you will find in our area. I think their red beans and rice were spot on.  Really good.  Their lobster bisque, seriously is to die for.  It is just a puree no lobster that I found. But I didn't care, it was just insane good.I hate to comment on their gumbo.  No one from LA would like it.  Just doesn't have a good taste.  But then again, it is hard to find good gumbo in Texas. They have a cajun pasta plate with shrimp that was killer.  Excellent flavor all around.Their beniets are big, unless you get the small bite sized ones.  They are doughy, but that isn't bad, because they aren't greasy at all.  But don't expect you are getting real LA beniets.  The inside is super clean, and really well decorated.  The music is zydeco and that is fun. The wait staff couldn't be any nicer.  Just great people who really want your business.  When an order is placed, they all call out, and that is annoying as all get out.  The kitchen staff should do this, not the waitstaff and hostesses.   I will go back without a doubt. @Fallon: I was sorry to see the Catfish Cafe close, but I'm glad a good place came in to the space.
Along similar lines, I stopped by JAMBALAYA KING one day last week, instantly got a weird vibe. They only stay open until 7:00 during the week which is crazy, and not super convenient for anyone that wants to get takeout for dinner. The menu is super limited and was warned that those are grand opening prices and they will go up soon. There were several people standing around in the kitchen but only one guy working the register and he was slow as molasses and super chatty with people in line. I gave up and left.
