I signed up for email bills from COH.  Twice, I never got my bill.  Fortunately, I have a list of bills and when they are usually due, so I was able to pay them on time anyway.  When I complained to COH Water, they said their "system" shows that the bills went out.  I thought, how do I show them a bill that I never received?It happened again this month.  No bill but I paid it on time.  Today, 5/24/17, I received my water bill from the COH for May that said the Due Date was 5/19/17.  I raised hell with the COH Water Dept, and sent an email to the COH, but they don't seem to care.  Are others having similar problems with their bills? 4951

I didn't​ get one for paying in May either. Just happened to go to the website and look when I was paying bills.

I'm always having issues with the water bill. I've gotten to where I just pay it the first week and am done with it. 4951

We were set up for auto pay with COH, last summer when I had a nice $150 water bill ( that had to be averaging, we dont water yard with city water) and they debited my account twice. Took about 5 calls and several emails and they insisited on giving me a credit, not my money back, they eventually gave it back to me. I am off the auto pay, but my bill still states "no payment needed, this will be auto deducted from your account" and it is not on that program at all. I go pay it at Kroger now, refuse to use their online system.One thing is they get their money, they are darn near like IRS, pay us or we turn it off, then we can figure out what is inaccurate about your bill,  but we need payment first. 4951

I'm still waiting on my freaking deposit. I signed up 7 years ago with 100 deposit.
 
I disconnected 8 weeks ago come the first. Even though it clearly states the last month is not to come out of deposit. Thats what they did, leaving me with 48 dollar credit I have yet to see.

@Steven H:  Sorry you had so much trouble, but unfortunately is not uncommon.That's one reason why I never pay bills on "auto pay".  That allows them to "pull" money from your account pretty much at their pleasure.  I always pay each month through their monthly e-pay system so I'm in control of "pushing" money to them.  I keep both the businesses payment confirmation email and my banks email notification that an amount was externally transferred to them.The only bill that I did do auto-pay was my last few years of my mortgage.  The payment was always the same and the date of withdrawal was always consistent.

Coh has been screwing people out of money with water since the beginning. I remember in the 80s they would estimate and mom had to call it in because they had the wrong amount of gallons used. 4951

The problem with the digital meters is they can adjust it and you will never know it. The analog meters they would come by and say we have to change it. Really they overestimated and didn't want to refund the money. 4951

I'm always having issues with the water bill. I've gotten to where I just pay it the first week and am done with it.

@BooBear:  I looked on-line a week before my water bill is typically due.  My account showed my payment last month but did not have my current bill listed.

Same thing happened to me this month. Don't even get me started on my sprinkler meter. We never use that meter and all of a sudden I got a bill for $300. I've been fighting that for almost a year. Ridiculous. 4951

Yes, I signed up for paperless billing. I get a paper bill some months at my current address and other months it goes to an old out of state address.

@CC1974:   I had signed up for paperless billing a couple of years ago, and I did get my bills by email for about 6 months.  Then, for some reason, I started to receive BOTH a paper bill and an email bill for about 8 months.  I guess their logic is that they don't need to send me bills now since I got duplicates for so long!
