I've been! Secrets was amazing....and no kids!!! Went two years ago. They have new properties being built all over! We had  a room with a walk out lazy river and on the golf course. Great resort! 4951

How are the beaches? Is there sand for miles? I heard it was rocky and rough. 4951

@Haybugg:

Are you going before the baby is born?
It will be a nice getaway either way. 4951

The resort has a small beach area  for vollyball and you can walk to a near by marina. It's more desert vs tropical. Tons of hourly activities. Poolside is awesome. Highly suggest playing golf. The resort pushes timeshare purchases and if you go to the "seminar" they will give you all kinds of freebies just for listening. I got the round of golf which would have cost 400 bucks for free. Kind of a hard sell...but listen and say no thanks. You are a long way from town for night life and a cab into town isn't cheap. Have fun!!! oh edited to add: Resort restaurants do not disappoint. The resort does have a dance club... 4951

@cgm10sne1: damn on the small beach area, nightlife I can do without right now since I'm baking a baby in my bun. I'm just excited to get away. Would love a spa credit for listening to the seminar.
