Boneless, skinless chicken breast & your favorite BBQ sauce in the slow cooker, is an easy start to dinner, salad/veggie/ fruit of choice, and carb of choice and you are all set. My son always chose corn bread and put the chicken over it, and a salad.  Emoticon 4951

One of the best ways I've found to get picky eaters to try things, is to get them looking at recipes, and letting them choose a dish to make. They should also help make the dish. Then everyone tries it together, you say what you like, what you don't care for, how you think it could be made better, etc - rather than just saying "yuck." You determine together if the dish is a keeper, or gets a 2nd chance, with tweaking, or if it is off the menu, because no one cared for it. 4951

@VIP, and @theplaceboutique.  Get some chicken and marinate it overnight with a few cans of pineapple juice and some terriaki sauce.  Then grill the next day.  Wow, this is so good and easy.Works with pork chops too.

@Fallon:

You can also make an orange chicken sauce using 1cup Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce, 1cup of Orange Marmalade, and a couple tablespoons of soy sauce. You can tweak it more to your liking by adding other seasonings if you like (I use a pinch of ginger and garlic). I've used this with chopped grilled chicken and fried chicken for the more crispy version of it, and they've both turned out really good. If I'm not mistaken, you can also throw it all in a crockpot and cook it that way if you really want something that's no fuss. 4951
