Yep, I never wait...when everything is in, off to he cpa I go. However I just learned that you can write off any medical bills from my neighbor. I think we would have broke even with my husbands surgies and dental bills. Who knew...cpa never mentioned...too late now!
@cgm10sne1: I believe you can write off medical if you itemize. Â I never have enough to itemize so I have never been able to do that. Â This year family is 12,600. Â We spent a lot but not that much. Â We still owe.Not that I would want anyone to ever have to use this but if you have a child that only lives for a minute, if it takes a breathe you can claim it on your taxes. Â I had H&R do my taxes back in 2004 and they never told me that. Â I brought my medical bills with me and explained everything but because I had great insurance back then it didn't cost me much at all to have my son or for the NICU. Â I just couldn't bring myself to do it so I never amended my taxes from that year. Â Most people don't know that.
