Me, I don't get anything back since I work a second job as contractor so all the money I get back pays on those taxes so I just usually wait until the last minute, we still have one more day right ? Emoticon 4951

My dimwit uncle who lives in little town East Texas neglected to check if he had ink in his printer to print his electronically.

Yup, he had to drive "to the City" to get ink before he could print his.

So happy we just file electronically.

Yep, I never wait...when everything is in, off to he cpa I go. However I just learned that you can write off any medical bills from my neighbor. I think we would have broke even with my husbands surgies and dental bills. Who knew...cpa never mentioned...too late now! 4951

@cgm10sne1: I believe you can write off medical if you itemize.  I never have enough to itemize so I have never been able to do that.  This year family is 12,600.  We spent a lot but not that much.  We still owe.Not that I would want anyone to ever have to use this but if you have a child that only lives for a minute, if it takes a breathe you can claim it on your taxes.  I had H&R do my taxes back in 2004 and they never told me that.  I brought my medical bills with me and explained everything but because I had great insurance back then it didn't cost me much at all to have my son or for the NICU.  I just couldn't bring myself to do it so I never amended my taxes from that year.  Most people don't know that.
