For @SwaggyGKings Harbor is happy to announce that we are rebuilding the pier and construction is expected to begin this week, weather permitting. We look forward to the return of the pier and giving the surrounding community and Lake Houston residence an amenity that truly makes Kings Harbor a dynamic waterfront destination. It just depends on where you are.  We have a jet boat so we don't need much water.  A few years ago in that area in front of Kings Harbor, you could find water deeper than 6 feet or a few feet away, it could be knee deep.  The channel can change every time there is a big flood.  At the pier, there seems to be a lot of sand on the side by the bridge but I've seen larger boats on the opposite side. 4951
@ET: Dynamic waterfront destination? Like people come from all over to walk out on a dock in a mud puddle, to look at murky water, an ugly bridge and a half empty shopping center.
