@mm4731Dude, try soaking your aching foot-sie in an Epson Salt bath.....You can do the soak several times daily....  Add about a half of cup of Epson Salt to warm Water, in a bucket, large bowl, or what have you, and just allow your foot to soak for 30 minutes or so....  Then dry off your foot...  And repeat as often as needed.... I'm so sorry to hear that you're in pain, and truly hope that you feel Much Better quick like...

Try a product called Curamin. You can get it at the health food store. Have never seen it at Walgreen's, Walmart, etc., but if you find it there, you can certainly buy it there - just don't buy an off brand. I started having a heel spur on one foot and my Achilles on my other foot started acting up at the same time! I started on the Curamin, and after a couple of days, pain was gone! No need to exceed the recommended dosage. I take 3 in the morning and both of my problems have disappeared.

By the way, you do need good shoes, too, like someone else has mentioned. 4951

Roll your foot over a frozen water bottle.
Put the bottle in a towel or pillow cover first.
it really relieves the pain so you can sleep.

Buy some orthotics to out in your shoes. Stretch the arch of the foot. Do not walk bare footed.

@lola:

I also bought some Stainless Steel ball bearings, one that was 1 1/2" and one that was 1". At night, I would roll my arches over them, but since I started the Curamin, I don't need to do that anymore, but if you don't want to try the supplement, you can go with the ball bearings. They weren't that expensive. 4951

Go see Dr. Jason Miller.  He fixed my feet right up for me.  I had really bad plantar faciitis and heel spurs.  I don't even feel the heel spurs anymore.  YAY! His office is in the surgical hospital behind Kingwood Medical center.  4951

what @lola said helped me.I saw a chiropractor for mine.  And did the water bottle and some stretches at home.  Also, bought some z-coil shoes for work.  They really helped.  I stopped wearing them after a couple years and still feel good.Some people like orthotics. 4951

Good shoes, and got to Rest Ice Compress Elevate for a little while.  Doctor can give cortisone shots if RICE doesn't work.  Once it heals up, good shoes should keep it from coming back providing you are not overusing feet and Achilles (running?). 4951
