I haven't bought anything new since '11, I love my car and hate to get rid of it ☹️ But a challenger isn't really baby friendly...do you all have any recommendations or cars that you particularly love? I've been looking at Lincoln MKC, they're surprisingly semi affordable and nice, I'm not normally a fan of 4 doors or suvs #momlife 4951

If you are moving up to the mom-mobile, we have had a Honda Pilot and Ford Explorer.  Like the explorer better as it has been more reliable and is more comfortable to drive.  My wife would not be caught dead in a minivan.  Emoticon 4951

I have driven the Lincoln MKC for a week when I had my car serviced at the Lincoln dealer. I love it! It's a midsize SUV, perfect size for me personally and I don't have human kids just a four-legged one Emoticon 4951

@Haybugg:

I had to get rid of my Honda Civic Coupe a few months after having a baby.  Baby came 5 weeks early, and we didn't get around to car shopping before.  I really didn't want to get rid of my little car!  I remember getting ready for my first big outing with little man with our jogging stroller.  I took me like an hour to get all packed up, feed and change the guy, and then I went to put the jogging stroller in the trunk.  Got it in fine, but it wouldn't close - and I cried in the driveway.  Ha!  We have an Acura RDX (the smaller crossover SUV) - roomy enough for our family, but feels more like driving a sedan than an SUV.  I like that it's taller than a sedan, though...  Bending over to get that infant carrier in and out of a lower car is not fun - especially when the babe is like 8+ months and getting heavy!   When our guy was rear-facing I always put him in the middle seat because I figured that was the best place if we were t-boned.  Now that our guy is 5, I want a Jeep Wrangler!  Happy shopping! 4951

I forgot my sister has a Lexus RX midsize SUV as well. She loves driving around with my almost 3 year old niece in it plus her hubby LOL Emoticon The best feature I can't go live without is a backup camera. 4951

I see many people driving the newer Dodge Durango's.  We have a 2014 RT Durango and would not recommend it as it has a pretty harsh ride for a daily driver but is has the third row seat and pretty roomy.  The Citadel Durango version if pretty darn comfy compared to the RT as far as suspension is concerned.  4951

We bought a small Infinity SUV from Sewell. I highly recommend the Sewell dealerships for your purchase. The service is EXCELLENT and you can get a loaner while yours is serviced. Also you can go to any Sewell dealer and get a car wash at no charge. We love the car and the service. 4951

Volkswagen has a decent small SUV. I went look at Lincoln but I noticed some of the trim inside, the cut of the door molding was off some. Big turn off for me. Ended up getting a Caddy XT5. We love it. Think they are coming out with a smaller one, XT4 but won't be out until 2019 I believehttp://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2017/03/cadillac-xt4-spied-testing-in-frozen-finland.html?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=CadillacForums.com_breaking&utm_source=CadillacForums.com20170323And don't short change Mazda. Their new line is pretty nice. They put some effort into the interior wood molding / interior. I was impressed. 4951

I am curious of what people think of the rear end lifting with the wiggle of a foot.

I am still driving a SUV that doesn't offer the bells and whistles of the rear end opening and closing. 4951

@Annie:

Are you talking about the back hatch opening automatically?  I like ours on the explorer, but know that when it breaks (which, it will) it will cost a lot to get fixed.  4951

We have it on our Cadillac XT5. Neat but worthless to me. Only reason I got it was someone had to have it. They never use it. Gimmick. What I do like is the rear view driving camera. No blind spots day or night. 4951

@buffaloglenn:

Yes. I am short so it looks appealing but worry about the price to repair.
