Any suggestions on how I can fix this, affordable? So the leather repair kits work well? Is there a place I can this to who can do the work or is it cheaper for me to buy a new bench (I found one on Amazon for around $65 with free shipping).

I doubt anyone will fix this for much less than $65. There use to be a place on Russell Palmer that did this but they were expensive. 4951

Labor minimum is $35 per hour, and they have to take it apart to resew the seams and then hand sew as there isn't much in the way of seam allowance there, and do you want them to replace the missing button? Probably less expensive to replace, unless you want try carefully gluing the seams back together yourself. 4951

I don't think a repair kit would work as its not torn leather but the stitching....  For 65.00 I would get a new bench. 4951

You could also do it yourself with clear thread/fishing line, curved needle, thimble & pliers. Won't be perfect, but if you are careful will look pretty good. Don't know if you have the missing button or not. Sew from the edge toward the button to hide the knot under the button. 4951
