Several places that take them. Look up city of Houston garbage service, they provide links on where to drop them. I got rid of all my tanks about 7 years ago when people would still buy them. I see people put them on the curb now and they sit there for a few weeks until they realize nobody is going to save them the hassle of dropping it off somewhere. 4951
Unfortunately you missed it for March ... butOnce A Month Drop-Off Sites:The City of Houston is offering an electronic recycling drop-off day once a month at the Kingwood Neighborhood Recycling Center to residents. On the 1st (first) Saturday of each month residents, no businesses please, are invited to recycle their unwanted televisions, computers, monitors, printers, hard drives and other electronic devices. There is NO COST to the resident to drop-off their electronics for recycling.When: 1st (first) Saturday of each monthWhere: Kingwood Neighborhood Recycling CenterTime: 9:00 am till 3:00 pm.Saturday, April 1, 2017 4951
Goodwill's stopped accepting them; odds are the others have too so definitely call before hefting them into a vehicle and hauling somewhere. Also wouldn't count on the "free" sign working any more, tho wouldn't hurt to try if you're up for hauling them in and out. Best Buy used to take them free, but now charges $25.Best bet's likely the Kingwood monthly e-cycling dropoff mentioned above; better than the landfill. 4951
Put them on kingwood classifieds free and someone will come get them. Believe it or not people still want these. I have on myself. Only way to play classic video games is on a real tv! Got to have those pixels, Nintendo looks like crap in 1080p 4951
