Way past time. They do nothing for voters. All their support goes to lobbyists. They are like hookers, they sell themselves out to special interest groups. They will never vote for term limits. Congress is their golden goose. 4951

No because we are sick and tired of them being in congress for 2,3,4,5,6 decades. They are doing nothing for this country and everything for themselves. 4951

an elected official faces term limits every time there is an election. we may not LIKE certain elected officials (as is abundantly clear on this site), but the constituents are the ones who have the say as to who represents them and for how long. if you don't like your own, vote for someone else.  4951

Their people keep putting them back in, you know, the ones they actually represent. Why do you think we have say in who California likes, and can put in Congress, as well as why should we give them say in who we can put into Congress.

However i do believe Congress should get paid the average salary of all working people in the country, and should only have access to the benefits/entitlements as the majority of the working Americans.
So if i have to use Obamacare, so do they.
They have to pay the same percentage and copay. They have to have a 401K and SS only with no special deals.

Then will see some things turn around.

The people do have a say in who we vote in.... But as stated, they are in it for the long-term perks, and they have lobbyists on their side who fork over millions in their local elections which gives them an advantage above all the others running. 4951
