Does the fact that she was parked facing the wrong direction have a bearing on fault? It did quite a bit of damage.
@BooBear: My experience is no but for sufficient amount of money a lawyer argues otherwise. She will be a victim of the claim settlement conspiacy.  Her premiums will go up irrespective of fault and all in her pool will experience a smaller hike

@mulmye: her insurance may get dinged but she wouldn't be out her deductible. thats what she is worried about, paying that $500. It was a young kid in an old truck, his dad was listed on the policy, not completely sure if the kid was or not. That info is based solely on the info she got from him. She hasn't called either insurance company.
