Yes, I'm an old person!

Please, if you are old and you have turned grey or white, please, please, please do not dye your hair dark or strange color, you look ridiculous and everyone can tell you have dyed your hair! It's as bad as a comb over or toupee or purple hair!

I'm watching so many of these people with ugly hair, including Trump! Grey or white looks so natural & becoming on a beautiful aging person!

Thank you...rant over! 4951

I don't care what old people do with their hair. Let's get to the real issue.

Old people driving 10 mph under in the fast lane. 😂 4951

I think whatever floats your boat is fine. This is the Green Lady of Brooklyn, and she looks so happy, why would anyone tell her that she needs to change? 4951

@ZMAN:

When I was first starting to be speckled I tried dying my hair, I didn't like the look, couldn't stand the feel or the texture it had and after the 4th washing it started changing to maroon. This was not temporary color, nor done by me!

My beautician tried a different brand of color & it did the same. Apparently my hair doesn't take color well! I finally decided to display my oldness in all its beauty!

I'm still speckled, but gradually getting there, but I will never dye my hair again, I love my look. These old men & women at the inauguration look silly! 4951

Neither my wife or I have ever considered dyeing the gray.  Sometimes, I let my beard grow for a week and find only a few dark hairs!  It's all gray now.When we visited an old friend, my wife noticed that he didn't have a single gray hair.  When she commented on it, he responded that he got a little help from Miss Clairol. 4951

I use to keep my hair very blonde. When I got tired of the upkeep I thought I'd just dye it a color close to my natural color as it grew out. I ended up with lavenderish hair for a bit... I also thought I would try an auburn color once and ended up with orange hair. Hair dye is not my friend. I now plan to keep my natural color even when it starts to turn gray. 4951

My hair is a lot of different shades of grey and little bit of the very dark brown it used to be. If I were to consider dyeing it, I would choose something outlandish, otherwise why bother? LOL! 4951

She can do whatever makes her happy, but she looks ridiculous! I would have a hard time not saying something!

My best friend is near bald (female)! She's had alopecia since she was 13 and we have had many a crude laugh about her lack of hair! She will be the first to make the crack to lighten the mood for someone she first meets. Just last year she started wearing a wig because her grey in hair makes it look like she had no hair at all! She's a beautiful Yankee with or without her wig!

If you aren't having fun with it, why bother? Had a family friend with alopecia growing up, and you never knew in advance what she would have on her head - she had a large number of wigs, head scarves, turbans and hats. She said since her hair left, she was going to have fun with her head. One time she came over with her head painted for a pool party. 4951
