That's right, let's blame everyone but the ones truly at fault. Firing coaches and staff will NOT change things and they should know that from previous failed seasons.

Overpriced QB and ownership who won't let the coaching staff do what is necessary to put together and keep a winning team, is the true problem with the Texans. 4951

@donnatella:

Offense stunk.  Somebody had to go and they must think O'ButtChin is staying.  My guess is Brock will be an overpaid backup or gone next year.  All depends on the intricacy of the salary cap. 4951

@donnatella: Well that is why the texans are one of the most consistent teams in the NFL. Consistently mediocre. Don't worry I am sure when Rex & Rob get here they will fix everything.-

They need to get the salaries in check. Watt and Osweiler have basically blow the budget and the team didn't get crap out of either one of them this season. Yes, Watt was hurt but he didn't have to be...came back too soon AMA. 4951

@ETOsweiler is a 25M cap hit next season, 6M the next.  He will be there next season.  Their biggest problem is the offensive line. 4951

I heard 19 and 6 but no matter, lot of money either way.  Be interesting to see if Savage is the guy (has some potential if he can stay healthy) or they start all over with draft or trade. Probably won't be much in the trade market. 4951

@ET It is very hard for a QB to remain healthy with that truly offensive line.  Weaker than the Maginot at the time of WWII. 4951

@mulmye: The homeless character Damon Wayans played in In Living Color comes to mind as well.
