Well it took a minute but I'm finally getting around to sampling Cane's. Went one other time in the energy cooridor but it's been a couple of years. 4951

My dd are there 3 times. She loved it but now after 3 times in a week, she's tired of it. Lol.. The line is usually around the whole building. 4951

My son stopped by there and the line was around the building.  He decided he didn't want to try Cane's that bad. 4951

@sweetie:

Whoever designed it sure didn't plan that out very well! I like their chicken, their slaw is horrible, IMO, and their sauce, while not bad, is a little overrated.

@donnatella:
I've been dying to try it for a cheat meal, but greasy won't work. Is there even such a thing as dry crunchy chicken tenders? 😄 One can only dream!

@Champagnechola: Most everyone else can seem to manage it. I know there are none that are grease free, but these were so bad, the "crunchy" part was soaking wet and one slight touch was cause for a napkin.

We ate there for lunch today too and it didn't agree with me. I agree the chicken was greasy and the fries were soggy and way too salty. The toast was dry and anemic looking. I think they forgot the butter. I'm not a fan of the sauce. Would rather honey mustard or cream gravy. 4951

I've never been to one before and had built it up in my mind, thinking there would be different seasonings and sauces available for dipping.  Alas, I was disappointed when I gave them a try this afternoon.  My chicken fingers weren't greasy, though, and tasted okay...it just wasn't the great taste-fest I expected.  And the sauce -- what is that stuff anyway?  Kinda looked like ketchup & mayo but not much seasoning. 4951

Chick-fil-A remains the unanimous king of all chicken joints! The canes in the galleria area is as dead as a morgue around lunch time now. Kingwood location will soon follow.

@SwaggyG:

Is it? I used to work in the Galleria when it first opened, and it was always packed! Then again, it was also something new and different than the same ole stuff us mall employees were used to eating. I personally frequented La Madeline. 4951

I thought it was bland, but I liked the fries. I'll stick with Chick-fi-la. 4951
