Just have to rant over the McDonald's on North Park. I have been their time and time again and every single time they messed something up. It used to be a great place to go and I never had a complaint, but the past 6 months or so have been awful. One time they gave me a fish sandwich with no fish in it. They forgot an entire sandwich all together, another time I got a completely wrong order , and today I ordered an iced coffee and it was with ice but it was completely hot in the cup. I actually said "it's still hot". The response was "yes it is". Seriously. I worked fast food in high school and college...it is not thathe difficult. I am not going back. Shame on me for continuing to go there!! Argh. 4951

I had my 3rd Birthday Party there in 1984. It was glorious back then using lard to cook the fries and McNuggets. 4951

@DVaz:  Popeye's still uses beef tallow to fry their chicken in, as well as fries and other things.  Sooo good, but soooo bad for you!

Well every once in a while is OK. Lard is better than fake lard (trans fats) at least! That stuff is horrible on cholesterol levels. I'll use lard to fry homemade chicken strips every so often. Tastes so much better. 4951

@ET: lol...I wanted an iced peppermint mocha this time (ended up with Starbucks). And I have Littles, it is fast, easy, and SUPPOSED to be less stressful!!

I can't do Popeyes. Last time I went I got sick as a dog from their fat fry.

That tallow fried chicken tastes great going down but terrible coming up. .....

I'm sticking to Canes. 4951
