I just looked on Pinterest they have many recipes for cornbread stuffing. I guess you're looking for one that comes recommended. I had cornbread stuffing once and didn't care for it, but I've always loved cornbread. 4951

This looks like what I was thinking. How much sage do you add? 4951

@CC1974: just too taste? When I've mixed everything thing together I taste it..you just want to barely get the sage taste because it will come out more once its baked.

The amount of celery and. Green onion should be just enough to look pretty mixed together with the made cornbread, then add a couple of pieces of plain white bread or a few cheap canned cooked biscuits. Add enough broth that its a thick, wet mess but not runny wet. Bake it till its done. 4951

I kind of go by the recipe on the back of the Martha White yellow cornbread packages.  But my cornbread dressing is my own for the most part.  You can make your cornbread ahead of time and freeze it.  Same with your onions and celery, cook them in butter and when done put the whole mess in a ziploc bag.  Then assemble and mix and bake. Don't forget the poultry seasoning along with the sage. 4951

@BooBear  @SwimSwimDudes, I did mention "If you're lookin' to keep it easy-peasy-sneezy".....Sorry ya'll.....  ,,,,I just wanted to toss out a simpler alternative for those that do not make all of their goodies from scratch.......I mean, you can always jazz it up if that helps...  Use Chicken Broth instead of water, add fresh Herbs (Awwww Skeet Skeet) and well, dang-it, dudes, my intentions were solid...
