I was going to make Brussel sprouts, somehow now I have to make a Turkey, sneaky family members, that's all I got to say... I have a great turkey recipe. You cook it upside down for the first hour or two @ 400 degrees, then flip it and lower the temperature. Yum I love turkey & thanksgiving. 4951

Thanksgiving is my husband's favorite holiday, so buying a pre-cooked turkey will never happen.  4951

Thanks to my daughter new found food allergies to turkey and poultry products we were forced to seek other menus like Brisket, pot roast, or beef ribs as the new turkey thanksgiving meal. 4951

We are going to smoke brisket and ribs.  No one in my fam likes turkey, but they all like B&R.  If they did like it, we would either buy one and honeybaked or I would put the bird on the smoker.  Either way, it will be smoked. 4951

No one in my household is big on Turkey.  My DS is with his mother for Thanksgiving this year, so hubby and I will probably take my Mother up on her idea of going out to eat. 4951

I know it is cheaper to bake my own but I hate messing with a big bird.   4951

Since I have family coming, I'll be coming a large turkey. Usually I just roast a small turkey breast & have limited side dishes! This time is a feast!

The children get to clean up afterwards! 4951
