I, too, am originally from New Mexico (Albuquerque) and recommend Chuy' s. I always order the "9-1-1." It's off the menu, although it is listed on some Chuy restaurants, but not the one in Humble. It's a green chile enchilada entree made with blue corn tortillas and green chile. I order extra Hatch green chile on the side, and it's delicious!The Kingwood Meat Market has great tacos, and their green salsa is very good.When I worked at HP (Hwy 249) campus, I enjoyed  lunch at Santa Fe Flats located across the street from HP. Owners are from Albuquerque so you can enjoy the flat enchiladas with red or green chile. They also have sopapillas, which we enjoy with our meals in New Mexico, not just the sweetened dessert ones. During the holidays, they offer posole, another New Mexican tradition.I have not yet tried Tularosas, but the owner is originally from New Mexico, so I'm looking forward to trying their food.
@tobyderby1:
