You might want to read your contract with Corridor- many rescues have a clause that you contact them if you can not keep the dog- so they may be able to help. While I do disagree with you not taking them I feel for your situation. I know for myself I wouldn't be moving out of the country without them. Just understand that placing them right now is going to be tough- the rescues are full of Spring pups and dogs from the recent floods. Older dogs ( aka not puppies) are hard to placeGood luck
@Jpgurl: We had friends that moved to the middle east when we lived there, and brought their dogs with them. It was a very difficult experience, for both them and their dogs, and I would not recommend to others to try and move their dogs there, based on what I saw. Between the airlines, quarantine, local animal control by poisoning, and lack of regard for animal life, it's not worth it.Â
