funny thing, that "offended" issue. The one who thinks its a stretch or someone is being over sensitive is always the one who did the offending. LOL.Â
@TheTruthHurts: I'm so sick of that word! People use it as a crutch to manipulate and controls the actions of others in this ultra PC society. "Offended" has been morphed into anything to shut others down and for a quick win in a disagreement.
A greedy peaches-type was nosing around a client gift we had purxhaed, which were very pricey chocolates. She kept coming around and asking about them, wanting me to open them for "sampling." I told her they were purchased as a client thank you gift and there were no samples for the staff. A couple of hours later I was notified by our HR rep, that she was "offended" that she had been told no and that it was believed to be racial. Peaches II was stopping at nothing to get her something for free and pulled both the "offended" and the race cards. I asked the HR rep if she would approve the purchase of a duplicate box of $100 chocolates. Needless to say, she agreed she was just butt-hurt, being stupid, acting out, and NO, we would not be buying more chocolates. 4951
