When I was walking at the mall I saw the a bedding store with a picture of some kind of funny shaped pillow that that was curved to fit your head. It looked like it would only be comfortable in one position and not flipped over and made me think about the way I sleep. I flip my pillow over sometimes at night if I feel like it's lost it's shape. My DW thinks it's strange as she doesn't.  I like a fairly firm pillow, definitely not down or too soft. But after awhile the pillow needs to be flipped or fluffed up where my head has smushed it down. 4951

I have one like this, (contour neck pillow) made out of Latex. I had one from Memory foam, but it was too hot, so I got Latex.I don't have to flip it, and my neck does thank me for this. I use the smaller side for my neck, the bigger side was just a tad too much.DD uses a memory foam one and loves it. 4951

I use to have flip my pillow constantly to keep it fluffed up and tried one of those contoured pillows but found my neck was always hurting. I bought a king sized pillow a while ago and found myself practically wrestling with it when trying to get that oversized thing to flip over while half asleep so I just let it stay flat. It doesn't bother me as much as I thought to sleep on a flat pillow and my neck actually feels better too. 4951

Constant flip and also the covers. Gotta find the cold spot. Lol last week I was flipping my pillow and tried to flip the blankets off my feet and I got a cramp. When dh turned the lights on with me screaming help me, he yelled what did you do and my foot was clubbed, cramped and running up my leg.
Hurt for days after.
All I could ***** about was needing a pillow I didn't need to flip flop all night and I could sleep right.
I think I was twisted when I flipped my pillow half asleep that caused the chain reaction.
Has anyone tried that pillow on tv that is not supposed to mis-shape or flatten? They are pricey.

I think the on @FoFa posted was the kind I saw. I also flip my pillow because sometimes in warmer weather I wake up after sleeping in one spot and the pillow is a bit damp from perspiration. I don't toss and turn too much, mostly a left or right side sleeper. If I lie on my back too long my hands go numb, I guess I'm pinching a nerve or something. My DW likes to sleep on her stomach, something I rarely do. 4951

Mine even works with my full CPAP mask on, sleeping on my side or back. It's NOT for stomach sleepers however. 4951

I sleep with several pillows. The Hubs hates my pillow mountain but he also knows I have trouble getting to and staying asleep so he doesn't give me much trouble. 4951
