Jalapeño Pot Roast | joeyandrory.comI save the left over juices and freeze. Great over rice for a meal down the road.

If its the one I'm thinking of, it is basically a chuck roast in your crockpot......sprinkle 1 pkg of dry Ranch dressing over the top, followed by 1 pkg of dry au jus/gravy mix.Put pepperoncini peppers on top, then a stick of butter.Cook for 8 hrs (for a 4-5 roast)SO GOOD! 4951

I make a similar one but it's
1 pkg dry Ranch dressing (I only use about half)
1 pkg dry Italian dressing
1 envelope dry brown gravy mix, low sodium

Mix all together and sprinkle on top of roast. Add 1 cup of water to bottom of crockpot and cook on low 8 hours. Strain the seasonings out of the drippings and use to make a gravy. So good! 4951

@FofaNext time I'll make menudo! The issue I have with a pot roast is that I'll only eat it once. Don't care for leftovers of pot roast. I just don't like it that much. 4951

@lola: Take just the left over meat.
Shred it.Put how ever much is correct in a pot/pan/skillet and heat it up.When it is hot, add your favorite BBQ sauce, and make a chopped (well pulled) beef sandwich.Voila! Left over Pot Roast transformed.Trust me on this. 4951
