I wonder what's going on. The streets are like rivers. The water isn't draining. Water level is half way up the lawns. This didn't happen during hurricanes.I wonder who to call to report it. 4951
It came down too much too fast. The sewars just have to catch up. Hubby said we got over 5 inches last night. Rain gauge only hold 5 and t was splashing out. 4951
I have to compliment COH on the work they did at my house in Forest Cove. They opened the outlets in the ditches just in time. The water level rose to the street level during the rain but then returned to normal within a few minutes once the rain slowed down. Water was within 1 inch of coming into the house. 4951
It didn't flood like this during the hurricanes, and it rained much harder then. The water drained from the streets, but it's still nearly to the top of the sewers. 4951
intersection of Kingwood Drive and Forest Garden flooded as of 0605. East bound lane of Kingwood drive just past Forest Garden has a tree leaning way WAY over into the street. Hasnt fallen over yet, but it brushed the top of my SUV. 4951
Good Monday mornin', my friends....  Please heed the emergency precautions and stay inside, as you are MOST precious and irreplaceable cargo....."Get An Ark"
I have to pet sit this morning for a lady who lives by Riverwood Middle School - what is the water level like back in that area of Kingwood? I have a small car so I am worried about getting stuck 4951
Just loaded my wife's bag into the car, she has an 8:35 am flight to Chicago and then I noticed our street is flooded (Lakeville Dr on the eastern section). Going to wait until 7:15 or so and then chance it, maybe it will be down a bit. Her plane was here over night so it is listed as leaving on time but that might change. It usually only floods from our driveway to the greenbelt when we get these hard rains over a short period. Sometimes people have yard trash in bags that floats down the street and blocks the drain. 4951
