On abc news online, a Kingwood family posts shows a center point energy worker go in her backyard and hit one of her dogs with a wrench! It was 9:44 am on a Wednesday and the worker never knocked on her door. You can see him swing at both the dogs and he hit one in the face and she said dog was bleeding. I don't think he hit the other dog even though he swung at it. Center point says the guy is a contractor. They don't condone this. We don't know what they do when we aren't home. I think this is why dogs go missing sometimes. I don't know how to post the video sorry.[WARNING: Graphic Video]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lblLmI97-FQ 4951

I thought all readers went to digital so they didnt have to enter your yard. Jax would have taken him out. Enzo would have been ruined for life because he just loves everyone. Im not sure where I would be....probably jail. 4951

I saw the video on FB and reshared. Thinking that I should start locking my gates again. My only question was-if the guy's wife observed this from the window ( as stated on the FB video) why didn't she go out and stop it? I soooo would've been out that door in 5 seconds wielding my own pipe wrench!!!!!  And I would've chased his butt out to the truck and got the plate and the truck number!!! They are supposed to go to the door and knock first. I didn't realize it occurred in KW!!Never mind the question- Channel 13 had more info and said the family did try to talk to the guy!!! Man I'd be soooo ticked. By tomorrow this guy will be out of a job and I imagine Centerpoint will be picking up the vet bills!!!  4951

If that were my dog, I'd be calling an ambulance because by the time I was done with the guy, he would need one. If there was anything left of him that is. Centerpoint would also be changing their name to bp2018 energy because I'd be going after them once I was through with the worker. Homie don't play that game. 4951

@Burnsway: This was a gas contractor. He was probably there to do a cut for non-payment. He was only carrying channel locks, and that is what they use to to that task. Not sure what this situation was.

Something doesn't add up - the dogs are supposedly hurt, but the wife lets them out in the back yard again?  Wouldn't you be checking on them and taking them to the vet if they are hurt?  Maybe the story is just poorly or inaccurately written.  Also, the only thing that Center Point would need to come into your yard for are to turn on your meter (new customer/house), or turn off your meter (called in gas leak, or non-payment).  4951

@buffaloglenn: Go to KHOU - the story is more complete and the video is longer. You can see the woman checking the dogs who seem very skittish at that point and at the tail end you see the husband coming around the fence to confront the Centerpoint guy

Saw this last night on the news.  I did not realize it was in Kingwood.  To me, it does not look like the dogs were being aggressive.  They look big but not aggressive.  I hope that guy loses his job and Center Point should have a lawsuit against them.   4951
