I'm still a Popeye's guy more than Frenchy's. The latter can be too salty sometimes IMO. I want Grandy's to start opening in Houston already. I think Dallas has six and Ft Worth has four. 4951
I'll do strips, nuggets or CF chicken, but not fried on the bone. Something weird about holding greasy food gnawing it off the bone is just unappealing. 4951
Done right is it delectable. Don't care for Popeye's, or KFC, never had Frenchy's. Actually the only people who do it right are in my family. lol We take it off the bone first. 4951

@donnatella: Mia's on Kirby has the best chicken strips I've ever had. 4951
@JerryJustice: I have tried the franchises and I don't think they are that great. The original one is the only one I go to when I want fried chicken. They sell it too fast to heat lamp any of it. 4951
I do like a good fried chicken, have not had the KFC Nashville Hot , but we don't do any of them all that often.Popeyes pieces seem so small, and I am not a fan of their cole slaw.KFC pieces are a touch larger, but not large by any means.Don't ever recall a "Frenchy's" so can't say for sure.Culvers fried chicken isn't bad, and they good sides. We tried El Polo Loco last weekend, and their roasted chicken was good. I got the 2 pieces with broccoli and loco side salad, but I thought it was a tad on the pricy side for the amount I got. 4951
