My big rescue hides behind the recliner she hates lightening and thunder. My puppy runs to the glass door and barks at it because at 3 lbs she's that tuff. My 18 yr old Maltese is deaf so he hears nothing. 4951
Mine doesn't mind the thunder or lightening but won't go outside in the rain. Â I will have to force her out tonight before bed. Â Once she gets out there she jumps in puddles and is fine. Â It is just getting her out there that is the problem. 4951
Ol Man TJ had a restless night- would hide in the closet and then come out- back and forth. Loki is not afraid but will NOT potty if it's raining. Finally got a break this AM- man that dog has the bladder of a camel. Of course he would only go #2 in the front yard where the grass is thick. He has spent most of the last 24 hours in his crate( his choice- door open). And Hunter? He doesn't care- he still thought frisbee in the pool in the pouring rain was still a viable option. Sigh....... 4951
I don't know why but for some reason my boy was more vocal then usual last night. He usually waits until 4-5am(when hubby gets up) to start making his sounds.Last night, he whined and groaned all night long. The worst part was, he left my husband alone and chose to just bug me. That, combined with the girl who is afraid of thunderstorms, meant I did not get much sleep. 4951
My little dog is completely oblivious to thunder. He will bark when it gets loud enough to shake the house, but that's only because he thinks someone is at the door. 4951
ditto for our labs. However, Princess, the rescued heeler who loves catching rain drops, heard the water rushing into the drain on our early walk and was ecstatic. the min pin was less so.... 4951
Both mine sleep through it all and even the big claps they just look up a second. Of course I usually have younglivings stressaway and peace and calming bubbling away in my diffusers....lol 4951
