The owner of Johnny's Pizza said he patterned the salad bar at his restaurant based off of the best of the other pizza chains with salad bars. The creamy Italian is very similar to the kind that was on Pizza Hut's. That was always my favorite part of going to Pizza Hut. They had the best creamy Italian dressing. 4951
Somewhat on subject, I saw this a while ago and thought it was interesting. Website showing what old Pizza Hut's became. The building style is unmistakable and new businesses didn't make an effort to change it. West Texas, Kansas and Colorado are littered with old Pizza Huts that are abandoned, in many cases it was one of the few restaurants in the small towns. http://usedtobeapizzahut.blogspot.com/ 4951
@thetarget9, I don't think we have a local Pizza Hut you can go sit down in to eat. Well not in Kingwood at any rate.I loved the ones we have back home too, like you said, the salad bars were always good. And the buffet was good too. My mom still goes to our local one once a week with friends. They have a CiCi in our little town, but Pizza Hut is still the favorite for the older crowd.
