So let's be honest, we all have favorite pets even if we don't like to admit it. We have 4 cats (all rescues) & I love them all sooooo much!! But I totally have a #1 & #2 favorite, lol. Who are your favorites & why? 4951

The gray kitties are Luke & Leia. #3 & #4. The big orange boy is Jar Jar Binks & he's hands down #1. Smart as a whip, waits on me & greets me when I get home, listens when I tell him to do something, follows me & cuddles like crazy & sleeps on my right arm with his cheek against mine. He runs the kitty show. The little black baby is Kylo Renn & he is my sweet little shadow. Follows me everywhere, room to room, cries for me, sleeps on my chest every time I'm stationary/ every night, he legitimately thinks I'm his mama. He wants to be just like Jar Jar, they're my boys. I love all 4 & usually have all of the boys with me (Leia sleeps with DD at night), but they are definitely my #1 & #2 favorites. I don't even feel bad about it, lol.

Big orange boys are the BEST!

We have four cats, a foster dog, and Moxie.Moxie was a stray. She's mostly deaf, alert and bright eyed. She nips at my heels when I walk around the house. I totally know what it feels like to be herded. She's my favorite.

We have our two rescues now, but Holly girl is my favorite. She's my shadow and is great with keeping an eye on everyone. She just wants to be loved!

I only have one baby ( golden) and I love her so much! I can't imagine loving another dog this much. She sleeps with me and I always by me. 4951

Peanut is my favorite, and he knows it. The cat knows too and likes to bop Peanut on the head. My kids know too and call him a spoiled brat.

My favorite pet is an historical one.  Current cat is fine, and previous dogs were okay, but the cat I had growing up was the best.  He lived 17 years, almost all of it either outside or partly in / mostly out.  He was a champ at catching anything:  Mice, birds, lizards, cicadas, even a couple squirrels.  He loved to play and was fairly personable, especially as he got older, but was always as tough as a 12 pound animal could be.  He finally developed cancer or something in his back along his spine and we came home one day and he couldn't move his back legs at all.  When we brought him to the vet, the vet said he's really old and it's time.  I still miss him.  I'll try to find his picture and post it if I can. 4951

I lost my pet soul mate a couple years ago.  My golden retriever Mufassa was my baby.  My husband says I ruined him as a dog. lol   Mufassa liked everyone, but he LOVED me.  He got throat cancer at 4 years old and I had to finally put him down.  His ID tag is still on my key ring.  About 6 months after I had him put down, his litter mate Delilah was given to me and I love her dearly, but she is not my Mufassa.  I've gotten attached to every dog I have ever owned but never a connection like I had with him. 4951

I have twin rescue Siamese. The boy is a snuggler and the girl is aloof with lots of attitude. They both are my favorite. They do things exactly alike and are like bookends.

It's odd there is always one or two that have fonder memories than all the others. Our second dog, who ate the utility room and kitchen, until she turned 1 1/2 is always remembered as one of the best. She was also the one that pooped in the middle of the living room every week day after DD1 went off to college, for like 5 months straight. Then I have a favorite, our golden, who passed about 4 years ago, she was one of my faves. But not the rest of the family. She was my dog, because she said so! And she was the picture next to dog if you look it up in the dictionary. Loved her.Our current Heidi is a close to your heart dog also. We rescued Heidi from Twyla's 13 years ago this month. 4951

I have 2 orange cats and one orange dog.  We say that the original cat Taz is mine because he always follows me and has to get in bed with me.  The 2nd orange cat is my DH's because he LOVES my DH and the dog is supposed to be my DD's.  I think they are all just mine because I'm the one that feeds them, changes litter boxes, takes them out, buys them food etc.  I love them all the same but I think my cat I had to leave in NJ when I moved her was my favorite of all times.  My baby boy Clueso.  He was the most beautiful gray cat ever.  I had him for 5 years before my DD came along.  He was the reason I knew I was in labor with my little boy I lost and when my DD was born he watched over her like a hawk.  You couldn't go in my room to look at her in the bassinet without him.  When I put her on the bed to nap (she was a belly sleeper) he would rest his chin on her butt the hole time and it didn't matter what was in that diaper, he didn't move until she woke up and then he came to get me.  I was heartbroken when I moved her and couldn't bring him.  He stayed at my grandmothers for almost a year but then passed away.  I think it was of a broken heart since I had to leave him.  I miss him everyday.I have to say though, cats are much easier than dogs.  Don't think I would ever get another dog.  They are a lot of work.  Mine will be 3 in July and she is still a spit fire that will chew anything she can. 4951

My first favorite..Shayne. My parents bought him when they first started dating..I was so sad when he died..I thought I would never love another dog ever again. (don't laugh) He loved playing frisbee. I came home from school and he was laying next to his frisbee Emoticon we think he got bit by a snake..since we found a coral snake in the yard the next day. We buried him next to my favorite tree, where I used to swing.

My second favorite..Boots. We bought him,at the Pet Place in the woodlands..He had kennel cough so nobody wanted him..he had a beautiful white chest..I nursed him back to health..otherwise he would've died. We had to put him down last summer Emoticon he ended up getting a spinal problem and lost function of his bladder and back legs. We prayed for him and he started walking again for a full month..but he ended up getting a systemic infection and then couldn't fight anymore..we miss him
