"Cruz and Trump aren't electable. They're too far right." Moderates lost for the GOP in 1992, 1996, 2008 and 2012.
@fcabanski: I hear this argument all the time. We ran moderates against (Bill) Clinton in 92, 96 and Obama in 08, 12. The part that gets left out is that NO ONE was going to beat Clinton or Obama in those years. This year, Hillary is ripe to be defeated. You couldn't say that about Obama in 08 or 12.Â
Cooperation has always meant cooperating to push the progressive/liberal/socialist agenda. The problem has been progressive policies based on liberal/socialist ideals.
You know the Republicans already have the House and the Senate, right? So why do you think a Republican President (Rubio) would be working with a Republican House and a Republican Senate to pass liberal policies? Has Ted Cruz made you that paranoid? The idea is to get a Republican in the White House so he can COOPERATE with the Republican House and the Republican Senate to reverse 8 years of Obama. If the House and Senate Republicans hate Cruz (which many do), then that ain't gonna happen. By the way, I don't have a problem with Cruz's age...I just think he's a dirty slimeball who will do anything to win. Has nothing to do with his age. 4951
