So Michael has gone to play golf and left the TV on CMT..There is a dude on here named Hunter from Kingwood, TX. Evidently he was fat during last season and lost 80lbs...not sure of the premise of this show. Physical competition for cash? 4951

Hopefully he was not singing to make a living, if so that might explain the weight loss. 4951

Cool, nice to see local folks taking advantage of reality show possibilities

@Stealth83:  As long as I don't have to watch them!  There have been a few reality TV shows that I liked, but eventually, they run out of "real" stuff to show and the on-site producers set up all kinds of stupid "situations" to stir up interest.  A good example is "Alaska, The Last Frontier".  The people were interesting and it was neat seeing how they lived off the grid.  However, after just a few seasons, the producers had them doing stuff just to do it.  They used to live off the land and off of the scrap that they keep around the homesteads.  Now the producers bring in anything the Kilschers need for another episode.  I'm also sure the people on the show have made enough money that they can buy stuff that they couldn't, or did without, before the show.

Not sure if you know or not but Atz Kilscher is singer Jewl's dad. She never had indoor plumbing until she moved to civilization for her music career. That's the only reality show I can somewhat watch.

@GoldenGirl:
Fat was his word, not mine. He talked about how he had lost 80lbs from one season to the next.

@sooner34:  I did NOT know Atz is the father of Jewel, but it doesn't matter as far as the show is concerned.  It was very interesting for several seasons, but has turned into a farce now.  For example, in a recent episode, the Kilchers suddenly decide to build a sweat lodge after not having one for decades.  Noy only that, but they decide to make it a MOBILE sweat lodge.  Another recent episode, Otto has a three story house, but there is no stairway between the 1st and 2nd floor?!  Supposedly, they had to go outside, walk up/down the hill the house is built into, to go between floors.  So they suddenly decide to build an internal stairway?!  To me, it looked like they HAD a stairway that was removed, so they could act like they didn't have one.They don't mention it on the show, but the current wives of Otto and Atz (Charlotte and Bonnie) are not the mothers of the men's children.  Both men have been divorced (at least once).  I loved this show but it is past time for it to end.
