Maybe spending your time to become an person "in the know" would be better, maybe what she did when she was not in the know. Teamwork does not mean let me benefit from your hard work. If in fact she did not ask for information when she did not know and put the extra effort to find out herself (this may be why she knew the answer so quickly), she in fact tried to help you.

She wants to be the ONLY ONE in the know and have people rely on her and ask her for things. I asked someone else to show me where to find it, and show me a few other things so I COULD be in the know and not have to ask her in the future, which for some reason is very threatening to herShe did help when she provided the document, but I also asked where she found it, so I could find it again in the future (she only emailed a copy of the document which removes the file number and coding so I can find it myself.) The document was created by someone else and emailed to her, she didn't create it herself. .
