>> I got front row center on Monday.
@WskyTngoFxtrt:
You always get the good seats...
@yankeejessica: But I had to pay through the nose for them. Worth it though, IMO. If anyone is on the fence about seeing Journey, do it. I've seen them 37 times and have NEVER been disappointed.
@WskyTngoFxtrt: 37 times?!?
What's the total cost for that you think?
@mm4731: I'm not sure. About a 15 or so of those were free. I used to get free tickets and backstage passes from Deen Castronovo the drummer. He's not with them anymore and Steve Smith, the drummer that was with them through the heyday years (late '70s thru 80's) is back with them for a 2 year stint.The last 5 to 8 years I've been buying the VIP tickets which run anywhere from $250 to $500 each. The higher priced ones you get to talk with the band and get pics taken.The best VIP deal I ever had was with TOTO earlier this year. We did get to sit in on soundcheck and talk with and ask them questions in between songs. Pics taken, the whole nine yards.With Foreigner VIP tickets you get a guitar signed by the whole band.
