The gist of it is.....basicallyYou are screwed tomorrow if you don't come in and get a box as we are going all digital. You will need to perform a re-scan for channels in order to receive them.Newer tvs with digital tuners will need a re-scan and don't need a box.Ta da! Its effective tomorrow, so deal with it.Remember, we dont care cause we dont have to. We have a MONOPOLY.....bwahahahahahahaa!...........or something close to that, you get the general ideal. 4951

I think it is called progress. I thought they did this a year or two back. We have had boxes on the old TVs at least that long. 4951

Digital TV tuners have been out for a decade or more. Nice to see SL catch up with the rest of usAmeriKa with the republiKans made it a mandate in 05 ish. "They did it for national security" okayyhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ATSC_tuner 4951

We have had the digital boxes for the older tv's for like 4 years maybe more now.Maybe they are doing it in sections or something. 4951

its not that they dont care, it was a law that was passed that they had a timeline to move off of analog to all digital. They are doing you a favor by providing you with a digital box for free. 4951

@Suddenlink Help: He'll probably only be able to do this if he either gets his internet feed from someone else or has it on his phone since y'all can't seem to keep your network up long enough for someone to type an email.If his feed is anything like mine has been the last couple of weeks, at best he'll be sending it a word at a time.

I have the box and re scanned all channels and most still wont come up. My 10 yr old is pitching a fit with no weather channel.....oh boy things are not good in my home today. LOL 4951

Has anyone seen a list of channel lineup?

I only know when I turned on the tv this morning, I could only find two religious shows and not the news. I wondered if it were a sign.

We received a list of the new line-up in the mail. I bet you can find one on Suddenlinks website. 4951
