We have a family heirloom quilt that needs to be repaired, or have some type of cleaning. An accident whereby a permanent marker pen was dropped on one small section and left a what is probably a permanent stain. Is there a place [or person] that could help us get this repaired? We have all sorts of material that matches different squares on the quilt. It is just one small square section that is involved. Thanks in advance people! 4951
Also call or visit It's A stitch in Humble. They have a lot of serious quilters in there store regularly. Surely someone there can help or refer to someone who can. 4951
can't you replace the square your self ? I bought a quilting loom & did some repair work on a quilt that my mother made years ago . When I worked on the quilt I tried to match the stitching my mother had done & after I was done you could not tell the difference at all . 4951
Try treating the spot with Zote soap. Not sure if they sell it at HEB or not. It is super cheap though and so far has not failed me. It might take more than one attempt but that stuff is magic. Wet the area and use the bar to directly scrub the spot. Let sit and repeat if necessary. If your grocery store doesn't have it Fiesta will for sure or try one of the bodegas in Humble. It comes in a brick. I like the pi know one. Should be around or less than a dollar. 4951
