For the past few days I've started having my fall allergies, perhaps it is from that last little cool front blowing stuff down north and west of here. Stuffy nose, itchy eyes, sneezing like crazy.  U usually get affected in the fall by cedar pollen, ragweed and goldenrod. Just seems early this year. Anyone else having allergy issues? 4951

@Chrisinkingwood: I was sneezing and my nose was running while I was out putt putting with my DD this morning.  It doesn't help that they had just mowed either.

@Chrisinkingwood:  There was an article in the paper last week about ragweed starting earlier and being heavy this year.  If I'm in the yard for long, my sinuses get stuffy. 4951

For me, most of my symptoms are nasal drainage down my throat which gives an annoying cough.

Had the grass cut Friday evening and it was so thick from the rain. I started as soon as I got up and stepped outside. I raked it, dh dumped it in a hole we have. Cut finished yesterday eve and we raked it today. We are hoping that raking it up will help with the blowing of dry hay.

Aaachoo

Bless all with the sneezes. 4951

I always have some of that but now my throat is really swollen, but it's not sore or painful but it feels like I have an egg stuck in there. So weird. 4951

Already starting on my hot tea here.We need someone without allergies to go along the greenbelts and kill all the ragweed, before it gets to be 4 foot tall!

Try some hot tea and a super steamy shower. If nothing less, you will be very clean. Emoticon

@Annie:

Yeah, that steaming feels so good, and it clears my head if not temporarily. But I have a raging head cold now. Emoticon

Oh well, still functioning and meds will do the trick, as soon as I get some. 4951
