I had some store bought blackberry vodka in my cabinet for years.  (I prefer the 'real' kind.)  My DH decided he would finish it for me so we wouldn't have to pack it for our big move.  He doesn't remember much about that evening.  I had to tell him he slept on the hall floor all night.  He won't touch vodka now.  Emoticon 4951

I don't drink vodka but I used to make flavored vodka. I used to do all kinds of different ones. A reall huge hit was the Jolly Rancher vodkas.  I got a couple of bags of the traditional favors and separated the colors out. Then I poured vodka into smaller clear bottles ( beer bottle sized ) that I bought. I added the candies that had been separated out into the bottles. Grape was well liked  but the green apple was the favorite 4951

@Jpgurl:
Sounds good. How long did you let it infuse for? 4951

I infused vodka once, don't remember what flavor or what it was for. Went to a Martinin bar with a friend & they infused all their own vodka & they had tons of flavor. For some reason I want to say I did pineapple, but I would not swear to it. 4951

I've done strawberry a few times, peach once, rashberry once and apple once.They all tasted pretty good, just looked like crap after the fruit broke down.I would think if you strained it, it would look good besides taste good.Or don't keep it around long enough for the fruit to break down.Did a hot pepper (with those dried red chilis like they use in asian spicy dishes), that was pretty spicy, and good also.Today with the mirid flavors of vodka available, I just don't see the need to make it. 4951
