@Suddenlink Help: I have read this on numerous post but nothing ever gets better. The price goes up but service remains the same.

Unfortunately it is a waste of time. We had them out multiple times within the last year fixing the same issues that everyone in Kingwood complains about. I finally had enough and switched to Direct TV. If there was another Internet provider I would switch that service also.
Your prices are too high, limiting Internet usage and the service is unreliable.

@saltwaterfisherman: Now that we removed some trees in the backyard, we should have no problem getting Direct TV and my husband wants to switch. Can you give me an idea of what you pay for Direct TV, and then internet and landline phone with Suddenlink?
 
My "triple play" with Suddenlink is running around $165/mo and it just makes me cringe. We do have the expanded family package for the kids, but do not have any of the special movie or sports channels. 4951

It depends what package you go with. I was too the point that I didn`t care what it cost. Sudden link got rid of all of the stations that we liked, so keeping the cable was senseless. We were renting movies from the Red Box because there was never anything on. We are now paying more per month, but at least we have all of the stations that we like. 4951

@ctl74: I have their package with all the channels except the movie channels (Showtime, HBO ect), HD and DVR on 2 TV's, for $98, been with them a while, it has been $73 the whole time as I was receiving a 12 mth $25 credit, every time it would run out, I'd call them and tell them I want to cancel (you have to, as that gets you to the reparations dept, the regular CS can't/won't do much). Last mth my credit ran out, so I called them up and they said due to Direct's financials, they are not giving discounts for the first and second quarters this year, said to call back the third quarter and I could get it back.That being said, they always offer major discounts to new customers the first 12 months, probably be around $60.For internet, I pay $29.99 with Century link, 10 MBPS, it's good and fast, can't remember it ever going down and I use it all the time, they send me stuff that I can bundle a phone line making my bill around $50, but I don't need one.
