@NewToTexas: I think women have always been getting inked, it just they are getting them in more visible places now.  I have 6 but you can't see them unless I want you too.

@NewToTexas: I think is what is different. Instead of "tramp stamps" and ankle tats, women/girls are getting more visible ones.

I think the stigma is fading so women feel more free to show them and have them more visible, such as a sleeve, etc.  Still not the norm in the business world, but a small ones are less stigmatized. 4951

@donnatella: This, and I think the stigma is fading for both women and men.  There are more men getting tattoos nowadays, too.

I still think that in a professional environment, they should be covered.  My BIL is covered in tats but you would never know by looking at him.  Out and about, it's fine but in an office setting, they should be covered-JMHO 4951

Agreed, but it's difficult to cover when wearing a skirt if there is an ankle tat.  4951

@Ray: Her giant, fake flotation devices is what wrecked her outer beauty. I think the artwork is beautiful. Who knows, she might be a lovely person with great inner beauty.

@Ray I agree, but there are a lot of people out there that love that.  To each his own. On a positive side, the artwork is nice.  4951
