A family member was asking if anyone had any recommendations for a general surgeon. Dr. Ortega or Dr. Villafani are on the list. Does anyone have any other recommendations, or any experience with these two doctors? I'd love to give my family member some feedback. Thanks! 4951

I know this is not what you asked, but if you or your relative is open minded, please suggest reading about Dr. Hulda Clark's gallbladder flush. There are ways to manage stones and many people have had success doing it, without removing the organ. The gallbladder is a filter, much like the liver, and your body is better off with it than without it. Personally, I have dealt with painful gallbladder attacks, and I would choose non-invasive over invasive any day. 4951

There is none better than Villafani. He as cut on me (colon resection), my wife, and my best friend several times. He is the best in this area. 4951

Dr. Timothy Sehorn did my mom's surgery. She was very pleased with him. 4951

Sorry to hear one of your family is struggling with gall bladder issues.
I also have come very near having mine removed by mistake.
Twice they have had me scheduled for surgery. Once I was within 15 minutes.
Both times I was fortunate that a doctor stepped in and resolved the problem without surgery.
Please tell your relative to make sure they exhaust all avenues with second opinions, options, etc.
Often surgery is necessary, but it has been my experience that medicine very often replaces the knife.
Best wishes for you and your. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. 4951

Dr. Villafani is fabulous. He did my mother's breast cancer surgery, and a couple of other ones on her. He was the only guy that she'd let do surgery on her. Plus, he would call her himself to check on her. 4951

I have worked with both surgeons and both are top notch. I used Ortega for my lap Chole.
You can't go wrong with either.
