There's no good community forum for the town I now live in. There are a couple facebook groups...but they aren't very active. Makes it a little tough to get questions answered. Like...where should I go to have my hair done?!?!?! Not cool. 4951

I think the thing we miss most about kingwood was the feeling of community that this board brought to it.
We are trying to decide where to buy over on the west side of houston and it just isn't the same. 4951

@fcabanski:

I have actually. Nobody is ever outside. I've literally only ever seen 2 neighbors. I met the guy that lives next door. Seems nice, has a teenage daughter. I believe it's just the 2 of them. Again...only ever seen him once. DH met the drunk across the street the day we moved in. He was a nut case. They moved out a couple weeks ago. I've never even seen/ heard anyone's kids playing. And i'm pretty sure we're the only ones in the cul-de-sac that has dogs. It's strange for sure. 4951

@taramay: It may be fun to try to start one.  Not sure how difficult that is, but you might even make some add revenue.I have wanted to learn to do this, but have never had the time or a good idea for a website.

@ForeCPA90:
Between having zero IT knowledge, having a 2 year old, another due in April, and moving again soon...there's no more room on my plate! But...it would be nice to get paid for the idea alone. LOL!
