Happy Tuesday
 
Another gloomy cold day but I'm awake and breathing.
 
Today my goal is to slip quietly into a class at the gym. Haven't looked at the schedule to know which one. But I watched the Zumba class the other day and it looks like a fun way to get in cardio. Screw looking like an idiot learning the moves...I'll just fake it till I make it.
 
On the menu
Water water water
Not sure about lunch..I need to go to Kroger.
Chicken Caesar salad
 
Stay dry and be safe out on the streets.

@cgm10sne1: If you have a Wii,you can borrow my Zumba disc.  It tracks your progress, shows how many calories your burned, and shows you how to do the steps.  I have work today but stand and move all day long.  We listen to some great dancing music and I have been caught shaking my butt a time or two to it.  I made a big batch of leek soup over the weekend and will probably have that at least twice.

I lost another lb this morning! Emoticon
 
BREAKFAST: protein shake
AM SNACK: Grapes or low fat string cheese
LUNCH: 1 cup of leftover whole grain spaghetti with ground turkey & organic no salt added tomato sauce.
PM SNACK: strawberry light & fit Greek yogurt
DINNER: A turkey burger on a whole grain sandwich slim with side salad.
 
Workout plans: Zumba with Sheldon tonight at Park Lakes Golds Gym then 30 minutes of core exercises at home.

FORCING myself to go to the gym to do treadmill and weights. Probably won't beat last week's miles- it's been to crappy to ride outside and trying to ride on the trainer for more than an hour is like a root canal without novacaine. So gym here I come 4951

@jpgurl that's my whole problem with cardio.....it's so boring and I struggled with 30 minutes. But I do manual input so I adjust the workout intermittently. A little less boring. 4951

@jpgurl I hate that I got rid of my padded biking shorts and clip shoes. But I will sneak into a Friday class when you least expect. 4951

Gym-check! I made it to a class that was strictly for the core. Only a 30 minutes class. Abs, back, triceps added today. Ever since my neck surgery doing triceps makes me spasm profusely but I endured the uncomfortableness. I'll have my v back at some point. Already seeing changes.
 
Had a 6.4 oz salad with chicken, grape tomatoes,shrooms and chicken. 2 boiled eggs. I'm full as a tick.
I'm sleepy now too.
 
Dinner who knows. But I did get some blueberries today. Hubby went to the gym at 4:30 a.m before going into office and he is snoring on the couch. He has lost 28 lbs and is looking delicious! He wants 20 more to lose. Jeeesh men lose so much quicker than women. It's not fair! 4951

@cgm10sne1: hey I was there today and I thought of the perfect class for you- it's called Vive- taught by Robin on Tues at 8:30!! Did you take CX? It's a nice kick butt class!! Treadmill wasn't too successful- I have GOT to get some new running shoes- but the weights were. Now need to do my core here at home

I'm doing Zumba at 8:30 tomorrow @jpgurl and yes it was CX! Leah taught. I did see the Vive class, but I couldn't make it today. Not to sound catty, but the instructors are not physically what I expected. They don't jack around and have more stamina than I at this juncture! 4951

@Jpgurl: I know that's right!  Back in my riding days, I bought a trainer for inclement weather days and what-not.  I think I used it once for about 10 minutes and said screw that!

I'm home today because I took my mom to have cataract surgery and I'm supposed to walk over and check on her throughout the day. Still took a 45 minute walk earlier at 4am. Started to rain on me on the way back. I decided to make an awesome salad for lunch - Spring mix with spinach, bacon, walnuts, avocado, boiled egg, craisins, raisins, roasted corn and just a bit of honey mustard dressing.... 4951
