DH's birthday is the 25th, and I'm trying to figure out something nice to do for him. Any ideas? Both of us work all day on his birthday, so it looks like the only day we can so anything is the Tuesday before. My poor baby doesn't really have any friends, so I'm not quite sure a party will work (unless y'all want to join us lol). At one point he expressed interest in doing a midnight madness bowling, but I don't know if they have those during the week. I already plan on making his favorite dinner on his actual birthday, and of course all the fun that goes on in the bedroom (and the rest of the house for that matter Emoticon ) 4951

Take him to dinner at Chimichurri's.  Be sure to tell them it's a birthday celebration.  If I remember correctly, he'll get a free Tres Leche desert.  It's big enough to share. 4951

Romantic dinner on the patio overlooking the water @Chimichurri's sounds like a great idea.  @bp2018, forget the group dinner with us and go sweep that man off his feet and celebrate all night.  4951

If he wants to bowl, a really cool place to go is Lucky Strike downtown. They stay open until midnight Mon-Thur and until 2am on weekends. They have great food, fun music and a lounge atmosphere. I guarantee he'll enjoy himself. 4951

@Walty:
That sounds awesome! Do you happen to know what the prices are like so I can plan? Maybe I can talk some people into going with us.

Thanks! Sadly, I completely forgot I could google them. I'm just gonna blame that on the fact I haven't had my cup of coffee yet to fully wake me up lol. I'll be giving them a call soon. 4951

@bp2018:
I went a couple of times with a group, (4 couples total) so I can't quote the exact cost. We each put in $20, so it can't be too bad for a group. Not bad for a night out. 4951

$20 each is quite reasonable for a nice dinner out.  I'd likely spend that in drinks alone, so I know I could not stick with $20. 4951

That's not bad at all. It's his birthday, so like @donnatella said, I would probably need more than that for his drinks lol. I will definitely be checking them out and running it by DH to make sure that's still what he is wanting to do. 4951
