Primarily, www.srh.noaa.gov/hgx. I read the forecast discussion to get the basis/thinking behind the forecast then review the ensemble models to see what kind of agreement there is. I studied meteorology though, and did a couple of internships at the NWS office in Seattle, so I have a different take on things. I have a daily routine that I go through as well, where I also look at the hemispheric long wave forecast patterns to get a feel for how that will impact the forecast in the coming days ahead, especially with regards to any major troughs or ridges that build our way.Eric Berger,
