LOL! I used to make "jailhouse rolls" from scratch. this was a recipe from a lady in my hometown, who made the meals for those in our local jail, during the holidays. Then, I discovered Sister Schubert's, which are just as good, and a Lot less mess, to make. You don't even have to thaw them; they can go freezer to oven; directions on the package. We get a pan for my sons, and another for the rest of us; now that the Grands are getting bigger, we might be a Three Pan Family, soon! As I said, we do Not care for the packages with the individual rolls; they are just not as good. They make a pan of small cinnamon rolls, but we have not tried those. The round ones come in packages of 2 pans, during the holidays, for a really good price.

Son wants a fried turkey! Anyone know who might do these nearby? Tried Popeye's a couple of years ago and guests weren't real happy with it. I thought it was pretty good, but not like one you'd fry yourself.

We picked up from Salt Grass several times and were pleased with everything. Now we are back to home cooked with family members contributing. I make cornbread dressing and get a Honey Baked ham, someone does the turkey, and we all contribute sides and deserts. It's a lot of work but we prefer it this way. Everyone takes home leftovers.

HappyinTX: The Ragin Cajun on Richmond in Houston takes orders. I would also look at local barbecue places around the first weekend in November and they might advertise making them?
