Hello friends. A 7.7 magnitude Earthquake happened in my HC, Pan
Hello friends. A 7.7 magnitude Earthquake happened in my HC, Panama. Sadly, the epicenter was very close to my Hometown, Soná de Veraguas. I have already called all of my family and they are all fine and nobody in town has been injured as of now. There have been a couple aftershocks. Many historical churches and buildings have been left permanently damaged.
All I ask is for your most sincere Prayers. Its very rare that this happens in Panama. The most similar one was in Bocas, 1991. But I guess this is some sort of result of the previous Venezuela and Colombia earthquakes. What has me the most stressed right now is that a Tsunami alert has been issued and Panama is really tiny and surrounded by so much water. So, again, all I ask for is a sincere Prayer for my people 🙏 Thank you very much 🩷

gato : SO glad to hear your family is okay! Have been lucky enough to visit PC twice, and have a friend who retired to Bocas del Toro; wonderful people and country. Praying they all recover, soon.
