Apparently, We have a new resident, a renter on the street. One

CatalinaD : I would totally agree with the live and let live part and I do not judge all renters. We had a family across the street from us years and years ago who were renting. Their kids were out of control. I had to call the police about a dozen times on them after repeated attempts to speak to the parents. Daughter would come home and be with a BF or something and they were loud, she would try to beat them up. I think they were intoxicated one time as they parked their truck in my front yard on the sidewalk. Fortunately they were evicted very soon. It was some type of violence and screaming almost every night. My kids could never sleep through it.

Jeepinbear : I'm sorry you were in that situation. I agree that when it affects your kids, it is time to take action. I've had a few neighbors over the years that were disruptive to a degree, and it's difficult to know what to do sometimes. I'm glad that they were evicted and your family was able to get some peace and quiet. « Back to Chat
