Have you ever had to deal with a toxic/bully boss?
ILoveReading : Good luck with your decision. I hope everything works out well for you and you enjoy your retirement. I enjoyed working and really tried to get another job, but after sending out so many resumes I came to the conclusion that when you reach a certain age people aren't interested in hiring you due to your age and being so close to retirement age. At least that's how I perceived it back then and I didn'twant to put up with that BS. I'm now 75 and sometimes feel I would still like to work, but I am content with taking on new projects around the house. There's enough of them to keep me busy. Just too bad I don't get paid for doing them! LOL

Sweetpeas6 : Yes, I have in the past. Now that I'm older, I'm not sure how much I would be willing to put up with that type of behavior.
Kaylagirl : Yes I did, twice in my career and I resigned from both places. Best decision I ever made. I got hired on a at a firm right away and the culture has been amazing. I've been there for 17 years and still love it.

Sweetpeas6 : Just once. He was 6 feet 5 inches and used his height to intimate me. I said dude every one is taller than I am. It is no big deal to me. But you just do as you please because nothing phases me.
