To my knowledge, any time you rob your body of nutrients, your vision can be affected. There is a right way and a wrong way to take this medication. If you have nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, you probably are not getting enough nutrition to support eye health. Your dose is most likely too high and there should be a discussion with your provider to lessen the dose. The problem with brand names is they come already dosed. I get mine from a local compounding pharmacy. I started at 15 ml. Blood pressure dropped to normal in a few weeks. Childhood asthma went away. Food noise went away and weight was dropping. I make sure to build my meals around protein (30 grams, 3 times a day) and highly nutritious food. I exercise and lift weights to support weight loss from fat and not so much muscle. At one point, the food noise came back mid week. The next shot, I upped my dose to 20ml. I was nauseous all week. I backed off to 18 ml the next week and that dose seems to be perfect. You can't do that with prefilled shots.
I still have my vision checked yearly, but I feel like I'm eating better and moving better without the extra weight.
